Licensing & Usage — Physical Works
All artworks created by Vivid Art, including custom commissions, remain the intellectual property of the artist.
When you commission or purchase a physical artwork, you receive the original piece along with a personal-use license — allowing you to enjoy it for yourself or as a gift, while copyright remains with the artist.
Personal use and display
Gifting the original artwork
Sharing photos of the artwork on personal social media (credit to the artist appreciated)
Commercial use of the artwork
Reproduction, duplication, or resale
Use for branding, advertising, marketing, or product packaging
Digital distribution, printing, or modification
Commercial licensing (for brands, publications, products, or business projects) is available by prior arrangement. Terms and fees are discussed individually depending on scope.
Licensing & Usage — Digital Files / Templates
All digital files, cutter-ready templates, and other digital assets are the intellectual property of the artist and are provided for personal use only.
Before purchasing a digital file, clients confirm the usage terms through a short agreement that clearly outlines rights and allowed scope of use.
Using the file to create your own physical works for personal use or gifts
Sharing finished results on social media (with artist credit)
Limited commercial use by prior agreement: small runs or specific projects, with agreed terms and mandatory attribution
Personal use / 1 copy — base price
Limited commercial use / up to 100 copies — higher price, agreed individually
Larger runs or commercial use beyond agreed limits — price determined separately
Selling or distributing digital files to third parties
Using files for commercial production beyond the agreed quantity
Using files for branding, advertising, or packaging without prior agreement
Modifying, editing, or creating derivative works for resale without approval
This way, purchasing a digital file gives you flexible and transparent use according to your project, while copyright remains with the artist.
